As part of the working visit of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Akylbek Japarov, to Washington, D.C. (USA), a memorandum of understanding was signed, outlining further steps for cooperation in education transformation between the Cabinet of Ministers and Google Corporation.
During a meeting with Mark Isakowitz, Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy at the American multinational corporation Google, the “Altyn Kazyk” (“Polar Star”) program for transforming the school education system was presented.
“We are proud to be the first country in the region to establish cooperation with Google Education and implement cutting-edge solutions in schools across Kyrgyzstan, helping our teachers and students acquire the most advanced knowledge. Our collaboration with Google in education should only be the first step. Our teams are also working on developing cloud resources, improving the efficiency of public services, and creating artificial intelligence programs,” said Akylbek Japarov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
In turn, Mark Isakowitz expressed his readiness to continue developing the partnership.
“We are pleased to see that your vision for the future of education in your country aligns with ours, and we are happy to collaborate with the government of the Kyrgyz Republic to bring this vision to life. We recognize your commitment to building human capital in Kyrgyzstan and want to support these efforts,” he said.
It should be noted that Google will support the “Altyn Kazyk” program for transforming the school education system.
The company will provide expert assistance in selecting the most optimal and promising approaches for implementing and practically utilizing these tools in the learning process.
